DEPARTMENT OF RENEWABLE ENERGY ENGINEERING

The Department of Renewable Energy Engineering, faculty of Agricultural Engineering deals about different renewable energy sources and its associated technologies. It also covers the aspects of utilization of renewable energy in agriculture and allied sectors, design and development of renewable energy technologies, energy auditing, energy conservation, extension of renewable energy technologies, and guides the path towards sustainable development via environment protection.

Department Activities

Various instruments and renewable energy technologies are available in the laboratory so that students can get acquainted to practical knowledge with own experience and understand the basic working principle of each technology. Theory lectures are being conducted in both blackboard as well as digital methods. Also the field and industrial visits are arranged to make students familiar with advanced technologies.
