Dadasaheb Mokashi College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Rajmachi is one of the constituent’s colleges of the Mokashi Krishi Vikas Pratisthan, Rajmachi. The college was established in 2014 with a graduate programm in Agriculture Engineering. We realize the responsibility of transforming a XII class students into professional Agricultural Engineers within a period of four formative years. Hence, we ensure that the students should gain not only pure technical knowledge but also develop a holistic set of skills equipping them to face the real world with global market.

Agricultural engineering is the branch of engineering that applies engineering, science disciplines and technology practices for the efficient production and processing of food, feed, fiber and fuels by skillful use of available natural and artificial resources for improving the welfare of farmers. This course is made after merging the principles of mechanical, civil, electrical and chemical engineering for the improvement of agriculture sector. The important areas in which Agricultural Engineering profession has to play major role are timeliness of farm operation through efficient agricultural implements and machineries including testing and evaluation of farm implements/tools as per BIS system. Appropriate land and water management activities, value addition of farm produce with efficient management of renewable energy resources with skillful use of Artificial Intelligence, helps the agroneers and farmers to do the mechanized farming.

Through this course, the students are provided with a curriculum of the specialization in Agricultural Engineering with theoretical depth and practical knowledge of Agricultural concepts. As per the course design we arrange   Student Ready Programmes (Experiential Learning Programmes / Hands on Trainings, In-plant Trainings, research project, Industrial visits and Educational tours) for the Skill Development. For this we are connected with more than 30 Organizations/Industries on various aspects of Agricultural Engineering. Also we invite various Organizations/Companies/Industries/personels to arrange campus interviews for placement of the outgoing students. Campus is well equipped with best quality Competitive Forum, Boys’ and Girls’ hostels, Sport Complex for overall personality development of students.
